An Automated System that allows you to design the Control Logic of your program solution with the use of flowcharts. LogicCoder uses your logic design and language command statements to create a source program. You no longer need to write programs with the use of control statements such as if, then, if-else, for, for-next, while, do-while, goto, switch and so on. LogicCoder helps you to design and code logically sound programs with little or no syntax or semantic error by automating this process. LogicCoder helps you to learn the essentials of programming languages very quickly.

WHERE DID IT ORIGINATE FROM?

The basic ideas and operations implemented in LogicCoder results from years of teaching Computer Science and Programming. I completed a first degree majoring in Physics in June 1988 and was determine not to get involved in teaching. However, I restarted my teaching career at a Secondary School and was eventually confronted with the issue of "the best way to teach programming at this level". I was very keen on becoming a good teacher and I wanted to develop a good and relevant teaching method for this subject. I did a lot of research to discover methods or books that best cover the subject of computer programming. My teaching aspiration span over 15 years at the college and undergraduate levels. In addition I also had over 6 years of Postgraduate research in the areas of Algorithm Analysis and Design. No personal boasting is intended here. By virtue of my pedagogic interest I have always wanted to teach in a way that has a long term learning effect on my students. During my teaching experience I have always asked the question. What is the best way to teach my students so that they develop good program problem solution techniques over the long term? Is there a fundamental approach that has a long term benefit for the student?maintenance and portability integrated into one single document interface system. You will think that LogicCoder is Magic if you do not have enough of the virtues of Logic! You will not find theoretical explanation of the underlying technology for LogicCoder or LogicExtractor documented in academic text books, journals or other kinds of publications. If you search the patent offices, you will also not find much information for good reasons!!

LITTLE BIT OF INFORMATION ABOUT MY MOTIVATION

After my first three years of research as a MPhil/Ph.D. student at the University of London I started to realise that Academia is not what it claim it self to be (or pretend to be!) when I was doing my undergraduate degree. There are lots of academicians that fits very well into institutional models but finds it very difficult to deal with ideas that does not necessarily flow through their old way of reasoning. By then I have had over 15 years of teaching experience in Physics, Mathematics, Electronics and Computer Science. I have always held the notion that a lot of technically difficult concepts can be easily explained. Most of my extra time in teaching have been spent ensuring that I do clearly understand the things that I am suppose to teach and that I can present any difficult part in a simple to follow illustration using things in real life experience. Been very practical in my approach and been very curios minded, I look for things that have practical values other than just been academic. I also realized that many academic publications are not what they appear to be. New ideas are not necessarily from the source that makes a claim on them in these publications. Unfortunately, I am not an ego driven type. Egocentrism some times offends me. It creates desperation in some people along with related consequences on other people. So I came to the conclusion that any new ideas I innovate should be put to practical use in a commercial venture. So for the pass 6 or so years I have been working on my ideas alone with God's help. If you go back to the navigation page you will notice that there is a link to information about sorting algorithms. This is originally my research work, most of which have been rejected by so called "Academic publications". In most case the reviewer could not understand the content of these papers. This I find to be odd because my 19 year old cousin who had just finish his "A" levels could explain and point out the key concepts without much confusion. At one point I thought that this was due to my presentation but after second thought I realise that this too would be an odd situation.

WHAT IS LOGIC CODER?

LogicCoder is a Graphical User Interface (GUI) system that let you design the logic of a program using flowcharts. You then use the flowchart to generate a source program in source languages your system is set for.

LogicCoder provides an integrated interface for Program Design, Program Documentation,
